2. What we process and why

Applications for a hike. When you apply, we collect your name, LinkedIn profile URL, WhatsApp number and your answer to “What’s on your mind right now — and why would you like to join?”. We use this data to review your application, to look at your public LinkedIn profile, and — if it’s a fit — to invite you to a hike and to the community WhatsApp group. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and steps prior to your participation (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

WhatsApp. Invitations and hike logistics are shared via WhatsApp (WhatsApp Ireland Ltd.). In a WhatsApp group, other members can see your name and phone number. You can leave the group at any time.

Visiting this website. Our hosting provider processes technical data (IP address, browser, time of access) to deliver the website securely. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Analytics. We use Vercel Web Analytics, which works without cookies and without identifying individual visitors, to understand how the website is used in aggregate. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

3. Service providers

• Vercel Inc. (USA) — hosting and analytics. Transfers to the USA are based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and/or Standard Contractual Clauses.
• Tally BV (Belgium) — application form. Data is stored in the EU.
• BunnyWay d.o.o. (Slovenia) — web fonts (bunny.net), delivered without logging personal data.
• WhatsApp Ireland Ltd. — communication with participants.

4. How long we keep your data

We keep application data for as long as you are part of the community. If your application is not accepted, or you ask us to, we delete it — at the latest after 12 months.

5. Cookies

This website does not use cookies for tracking or advertising.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, and you can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. Just email contact@fabianroschig.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, www.aepd.es).
